Boys & Girls Club Calendar of Events and News Updates
Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards
Boys & Girls Clubs around the country were invited to participate in the Nickelodeon Channel's " Kids Choice Awards "
which was broadcasted on March 13th 2021. The week prior. both our sites received creativity kits to make posters and
such. In return, we sent photos back to "Nick" of our kids doing this project and their final artwork.
Special Donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Highlands County
Mr. Dhruv Mankin, soon-to-be- Class of 2020 Sebring HS graduate, presented a donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Highlands County. Young Mr. Mankin led a
community service fundraiser both in 2019 and 2020 for the Club by holding a Pickle Ball Tournament. The event was cancelled in 2020 due to the statewide
pandemic quarantine, and yet, his donors reached out to him to ask how they could continue to help. The donation received on June 4th represented their collected contributions.
The Boys & Girls Club appreciates this generous donation and wishes Dhruv much success at Boston University where he will be attending, this Fall.
